Noah Kirkpatrick, 82, of Stanford and husband of Mary Lou, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at his home. Born May 5, 1940 in Lincoln County, Noah was a son of the late Everett & Laura Miracle Kirkpatrick. Noah had been a lifelong carpenter, a butcher for A& P for 25 years , was the owner of Noah’s Grocery in Stanford and the owner of Noah’s Small Engine Shop, as well as a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Kirkpatrick, three brothers, Odell, Henry & Hugh Kirkpatrick, and a sister, Jean Young Gerlach.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Robbins Kirkpatrick of Stanford, a daughter, Jennifer (Bryan) Gover of Stanford, a son, Todd (Tammy) Kirkpatrick of Stanford, five grandchildren, Jenna Gover, Laura (Lee) Welty, Megan Kirkpatrick, Miranda (Ethan) Edwards & Woods Gover and four great grandchildren, Noah Privett, Hadley Edwards, Olivia Edwards & Gus Welty.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 15, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church in Stanford with burial following in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be , Lynn Young, Dale Kirkpatrick, Roger Kirkpatrick, Tommy Kirkpatrick, Keith Kirkpatrick, Michael Kirkpatrick , Kenny Kirkpatrick, Greg Kirkpatrick & Ricky Kirkpatrick. Honorary bearers will be Karen Taylor and the members of his Dairy Queen Coffee Group. Visitation will be held from 5—8 PM Sunday, August 14th at Fairview Baptist Church.. Friends and family may leave condolences or special memories on his tribute page at www.ramsey-young.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Heritage Hospice.
