Lincoln Relay for Life hosting #FirstLap2020 Feb. 4
The annual Lincoln County Relay for Life event is still a little over four months away, however, the local committee plans to recognize the fundraising effort a little bit early by hosting #FirstLap2020.
As a celebration of World Cancer Day and to kick off the 2020 Relay season, the Lincoln County Relay for Life Committee is challenging local and area citizens to take part in #FirstLap2020 on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
There are two ways to do the challenge:
Join the Relay for Life Committee members on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 5:30 p.m. at the Lincoln County High School track as they take a lap around the track;
Make it your own! Grab friends, family co-workers or strangers and take a lap anytime on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Take a lap on your lunch break, before or after work/school, whatever works for you!
Participants are asked to document the event through selfies or videos, tagging the Lincoln County Relay for Life Facebook page or @RelayforLifeLCKY on Instagram and to have some fun.
Let’s all come together and beat cancer. And don’t forget to wear purple.
