STANFORD — Mollee Leach, BSN, RN, a nurse in the Birthing Spa at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital (EMFLH), has been recognized for her extraordinary patient care.

Leach was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Lincoln County, she has been caring for patients at EMFLH for more than six years.

Leach was nominated by several patients. One of the patients said, “This was my first ever hospital stay and I truly could not have asked for a better team.  I felt I was a pretty needy patient but they never made me feel like I was asking too much.  I had Mollee as my nurse for most of my stay and she was truly amazing.  She always had a smile on her face, always made sure I had everything I needed, and was so caring and compassionate.  She definitely deserves this!”
