Logan’s Fort celebrates holiday season
While many people went through the hustle and bustle of the 2019 Christmas season, visitors to the Logan’s Fort Christmas Open House got to experience a more laid-back holiday celebration.
Visitors were treated to tours of the completed cabins on-site, with the tours presented by people in period costume. Each of the cabins featured primitive holiday decorations.
While there was no re-enactment, visitors did get to witness re-enactors firing off their rifles during an afternoon demonstration.
Music could be heard coming from one of the cabins as the Danville Dulcimers provided musical entertainment during the event.
