Choo Choo Santa Claus paid a visit to the historic L&N Depot Museum in Stanford Saturday afternoon.
Santa, donning a festively decorated red hat and engineer’s overalls, greeted visitors of all ages as they poured into the Depot for a Christmas open house.
In addition to seeing Choo Choo Santa, visitors got to tour the museum and see the many different items on display, guided on the tour by Peggy Nunemaker. Included among the displays were working train sets.
For those wishing to be a little creative, there was also a station to create railroad engine ornaments.
A railroad-themed play area was available for the younger visitors and all guests were welcome to holiday cookies and punch.
