Well, it looks like some days with sunshine are on the way. I can hardly wait to complain about how “hot” it is. I see the grass is getting greener and taller, birds are chirping, wild turkeys are walking through my yard, trees are turning green, flowers are blooming and there are those now coming out of their homes for a breath of fresh air – Wow! How Great Thou Art!
A spring revival will be held at Bethel A.M.E. Church April 10-12 at 7 p.m. each evening. Elder Robert Coulter, Jr., pastor of Boneyville Baptist Church will be the evangelist. Rev. Reginald Pullums is the pastor.
The B.U.C.L.C. Workshop of the South District will be held Saturday, April 6 at First Baptist Church, Lebanon. Rev. Tommy Calhoun is the pastor.
Mr. Mack Thomas Gooch has been dismissed from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Mr. Harry Lewis Napier, husband of Mrs. Anna Napier. The funeral service was held Saturday, March 30 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Stanford with Rev. Dennis Miller officiating. Rev. Floyd Raglin delivered the message.
Sympathy is also extended to the family of Mrs. Kimberly Suter Miller, wife of Mr. David Miller and daughter of Mrs. Patricia Suter. The funeral service was held Wednesday at Second Street Christian Church in Danville.
Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Masterson and daughter of Trotwood, Ohio, visited Mrs. Anna Napier and also Ms. Trish Berry of Louisville, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Masterson of Lexington and several other relatives and friends.
Thought for the week: God would not have made us with such big and loving hearts if he did not intend for us to share them with others.
