The dilapidated house that stood at 705 Lancaster Street and was the bone of contention between the city and the previous landowner is no more.

Curious citizens questioned what was to become of the property – rehab or demolition – when it was sold at absolute auction on Oct. 18.

New owner Mary Lee Miller answered those questions when she had the house torn down and the property cleared.
