The South District Women’s Retreat held on August 25 at First Baptist Church, Lebanon was a great success. Approximately 90 women participated, representing each church in the district. Mrs. Theresa Calhoun was the coordinator along with all of the women that helped to make the day a success and – to God be the Glory. The theme was Relax, Relate and Release.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Dr. William Adams, the son of the late Dr. William and Cora Adams, the owners of the Adams Funeral Home. He is also the uncle of Yolonda and Earl Kelsor.

Thought for the week: The key to success is faith and courage. The key to failure is trying to please everyone else.
