THE FIRST-PLACE school art winners in the annual Lincoln County Conservation District’s contest were: Will Christy, Waynesburg, Bethani Luster, McKinney, Addison Hazlett, Hustonville, and Kylie Jenkins, Stanford.
THE SECOND-PLACE school art winners in the LCCD contest were: Jacob Martin, Hustonville, Rhiannon Herring, McKinney, Alyssa Garrett, Waynesburg, and Madilynn Shepperson, Stanford.
THE THIRD-PLACE school art winners in the LCCD contest were: Lola Knight, Hustonville, Sarah Tate, McKinney, AnnaGrace Kirkpatrick, Waynesburg, and Annie Correll, Stanford.
ABBIE COOK, an eighth-grader at Lincoln County Middle School, was named the runner-up for her school in the Lincoln County Conservation District’s Annual Writing Contest and also the county-wide runner-up.
HONOR TEACHER AWARD. Virginia Grimes, an LCMS teacher, was recognized for being the teacher of the county writing winner. Other teachers recognized were Kristy Johnson, who also taught the writing winner, and Brent Cole, the teacher for the county art winner.
