Temporary traffic signals in place
SOMERSET – Starting this week a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will begin bridge deck restoration projects in Casey and Lincoln Counties resulting in three routes being reduced to one lane traffic. Temporary traffic signals will be in place at the following overpasses for the lane closures:
KY 49 at mile point 2.75 (Brush Creek)
KY 1547 at mile point 5.4 (Casey Creek)
KY 300 at mile point 3.7 (Knoblick Creek)
Work on all three structures is expected to be completed by Nov. 15. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
