BURGIN  –  Taylor Smith of Waynesburg, was selected as “Employee of the Month” for August 2017 at Northpoint Training Center.

The medium-security state prison is located in northern Boyle County. 

Smith began his employment at Northpoint Training Center in August 2016 as a Correctional Officer.

Smith was selected as “Employee of the Month” based on his outstanding job performance.

He received a letter of commendation and was assigned a reserved parking space for the month.
