Jennifer Lee Denham, 59, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Born March 17, 1958, in Clovis, New Mexico, Jenny was a daughter of the late Clarence Elwood “Woody” Denham and the late Willa Banks Denham Gilbert. She worked as a nurse for most of her life. Jenny attended Hebron Lakeside Church and lived and breathed U.K. basketball.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Denham of Danville; two sisters, Carol Cutter (Thomas) of Richmond and Kay “Kay Kay” Denham of Stanford; three step-brothers, Lance Gilbert of Hawaii, Todd Gilbert of Florida, and Michael Gilbert (Tammy) of West Virginia; one step-sister, Beth Ann Hill (Blake) of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her step-father, Teddy Gilbert, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Denham and Christopher Gilbert.

Visitation was Monday, July 3 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford.

Graveside services were Tuesday, July 4, at Buffalo Springs Cemetery with Rev. Robert Camenish officiating. Burial followed at the cemetery.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be given to Regina Denham/Memorial Fund for Jenny Denham at any First Southern National Bank location to help pay for funeral expenses.
