Chance Bender, 20, of Stanford, was elected the Lincoln County Republican Party chairman on Tuesday, March 14, at the Lincoln County Republican Party reorganization meeting held at the Lincoln County Public Library.
Bender is currently in his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky; with an emphasis in Law and Political Science. It is Chance’s aim to advance the Lincoln County Republican Party apparatus and support the conservative values and ideas held by the citizens of Lincoln County. Lincoln County was cited this month by the Secretary of State office as a new-majority Republican county. With this transition Lincoln County can elect leaders who can cooperate well with the leadership in Frankfort to make Lincoln County a more economically favorable place to live and work.
The Lincoln County Republican Party will meet on the second Tuesday of April (April 11) at 7 p.m.. at the Lincoln County Public Library. All Interested people are welcome to attend and meet our newly elected party chairman. Light refreshments will be served.
