Street closures set for Jingle Bell Jog Sunday

The 5K Jingle Bell Jog will be this Sunday, Dec. 6. Late registration starts at 2 p.m., and the race will start at 2:30 p.m., with an expected finish time for all participants by 4:30 p.m.

Traffic control points at critical street intersections will have Stanford Police officers providing detour instructions which include directions to reroute you to your destination.  Several street closures will be unattended but will have traffic control devices in place. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution and obey all traffic control devices. Motorists and pedestrians should plan for potential delays and drive slowly for their safety and for the safety of the race participants. Please use caution in our city limits during this event and plan your travels accordingly.

Expect delays and rerouting on Main Street/2nd Street intersection, to Danville Avenue/ Foster Lane, Portman Avenue, Depot Street, Plum Street, Mill Street, and parts of Lancaster Street.

Please keep in mind that weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances could affect the Jingle Bell Jog 5K race schedule.
