Harrison Simpson, 72, of Crab Orchard, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Stanford Care Rehab.

Harrison was born on July 4, 1947 in Rockcastle County to the late Claude and Betty Farris Simpson.

He is survived by his children, Terry Wayne (and Shari) Simpson of Crab Orchard, Melaney Lynn (and Darrell) Canada of Berea, Harrison (and Tamara) Simpson Jr. of Somerset, Jason Shane (and Vicky) Simpson of Lexington and Casey Dewayne (and Jamie) Simpson of Crab Orchard; two brothers, Curtis (and Sharon) Simpson of Ottenheim and Danny (and Beverly) Simpson of Ottenheim; ten grandchildren, including Tara (and Jordan) Davis, Aaron Vaught, Valerie Simpson, Jacob Canada, Christian Simpson, Sierra Simpson and Cassie Simpson; seven great-grandchildren, including Emmitt Davis, Tanner Vaught, Landon Vaught and Caden Hulgin; his former wife, Reda Crigger of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Betty Simpson.

His funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, with Bro. Brad King officiating.

Burial was in St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Pallbearers were Christian Simpson, Casey Simpson, Shane Simpson, Terry Simpson, Jr. Simpson, Darrell Canada, Jacob Canada and Aaron Vaught. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Simpson and Danny Simpson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in memory of Harrison Simpson.
