Lincoln Schools names new K-12 District Math Coach

Lincoln County Schools announced Kristie Mattingly as the new K-12 District Math Coach.
Mattingly has previously been serving the district as a high school and middle school math coach.
Mattingly has over 30 years of experience in education. She began her career teaching high school mathematics and calculus through Campbellsville University in 1993. She also taught at Eastern Kentucky University.
She has taught students ranging from pre-school to the collegiate level in both the public and private sector over her career, including a lengthy time at Lincoln County High School. Mattingly has also spent time as a professor for both Campbellsville and Asbury University.
Kristie and her husband Michael attend Hustonville Baptist Church where she enjoys teaching weekly children’s sermons. They have two children – Auburn, a graduate of the University of Kentucky who is now a structural engineer in Lexington; and Baylor, who is an engineering major at the University of Kentucky.
