June Pollard Roundtree, 82, of Waynesburg, Kentucky departed this life February 1, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. June was born June 21, 1941 in Waynesburg, Kentucky, to the late Hubert and Lois Denson Pollard. On June 21, 1988 she was united in marriage to Bro. Cecil Roundtree who preceded her in death on August 17, 2008. June was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered for her Christian love and kindness to everyone as well as her unselfish care to many family members. June was also active for many years as an officer in the Crab Orchard School Alumni.

June is survived by her sister Alma Jean Pollard, and her brother, Johnny Pollard both of Waynesburg, Kentucky. She is also survived by an Aunt, Marie Denson, and several cousins. June is also survived by her loving caregivers, neighbors, and longtime friends, Elvie and Rita Dowell and their daughter, Amanda as well as the extended Dowell Family.

Granny June was survived by 13 Step Grandchildren: 

Delynn (Michelle) Jones, Kyle (Carmen) Roundtree, Darin Jones, Marilyn Coffey, Dathan (Robin) Jones, Heather (Scottie) Clark, Melanie (Kyle) Childress, Marcia (David) Coffey, Aaron (Samantha) Jones, Jeremy (Kristen) Reynolds, Melinda (Matt) Finley, Torre (Matt) Griffith, and Angel (Ken) McPherson.

24 Great Grandchildren are surviving: 

Tristen, McKinley, Zachary, Eli, Kennedy, Peyton, Amber (Tristan), Connor, Makayla, Corbin, Kaden, Kyndel, Jack, Gracyn, William, Brooklyn, Layla, Eden, Leighton, Lilyana, Willa, Bentley, Jayken, and Wyatt.

Besides her parents, husband, and grandparents, she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a step son in law, Lewis Coffey.

Date & Time of Funeral: Saturday, February 10, 2024 @ 2:00 PM, with public visitation beforehand at 12 Noon, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel located at 229 Main Street, Crab Orchard, KY 40419.

Ministers: Bro. George Sears and Bro. Jamie Turner.

Place of Burial: Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers Include: Jeremy Reynolds, David Coffey, Delynn Jones, Dathan Jones, Scottie Clark, Kyle Roundtree, and Lewis Dowell.
