While most staple produce items are no longer in season, there will be some cold weather vegetables available at the Christmas Market event, such as cabbage and cauliflower, as well as locally raised meat. Local honey, farm fresh eggs, jams and pickles will also be available.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. and will have a slew of holiday treats to celebrate this Christmas season.

Hot apple cider will be served, and handmade holiday decorations, shirts, local woodworking, paintings and more will be available for purchase.

The kid-friendly event will also host a variety of Christmas themed fun including caroling, pictures with Santa Claus, hot chocolate, candy canes and a Christmas Tree decorating contest.

The Lincoln County Farmers Market Christmas Market will be held at the Farmers Market pavilion at Veterans Park on U.S. 150 in Stanford.
