Trick or Treat days and times throughout the county

STANFORD – Lincoln County kids will have several opportunities to gather buckets of candy during Trick or Treat hours and events in the area.

The Hustonville Heritage Days group will be hosting a Fall Festival and Craft Fair on Oct. 28. Depending on weather, the event will either be held in the City Park or the Hustonville Fire Station, if it rains.

The City of Hustonville will hold its annual trick or treat on Oct. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Lincoln County Parks and Recreation will also be hosting a Fall Festival Trunk or Treat event on Monday, Oct. 30 at Veteran’s Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The event is free but anyone who would like to play a carnival game, tickets will be 50 cents, and all funds will go directly back to Lincoln County athletes for uniforms, new equipment and other sports-related efforts.

Stanford will be hosting Trick or Treat on Main Street and in city limits on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Stanford Mayor Dalton Miller said the city wanted to start a little earlier this year in an effort to keep kids safer, since it is getting dark earlier now.

Local businesses, churches and groups are invited to set up downtown on Main Street and pass out candy.

The City of Crab Orchard is also hosting Trick or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The city is asking residents to leave a porch light on if you are participating in handing out candy.
