Linda White Akel, 64, of Naples, Florida, passed away April 30, 2023. Born in Lancaster, Kentucky to the late James Perry and Margaret York White, Linda graduated from Lincoln County High School and Sullivan College in Louisville. She was a member of the Crab Orchard Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ramsey Akel and Coleman Akel, both of Denver, Colorado, sister Roberta Godby of Louisville, brothers James P. White, Jr. of Reno, Nevada and John White of Naples, Florida, niece Karen Godby Rowe of Louisville and two grandnephews, Ellery Wheeler and Chase Godby. She was predeceased by nephew Gregory Godby.
A memorial service was held at Avow Hospice in Naples with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
