Hart is eager to begin her new role.

“I plan to hit the ground running since school is already in session,” she said. “I want to help provide the best resources possible for our students and staff. I live here, my kids go to school here and I want the best for all Lincoln County students. I will do whatever it takes to help provide that for them.”

Superintendent Bruce Smith says Hart’s experience will benefit students throughout the district.

“I am very excited that Mrs. Hart has accepted this new role,” Smith said. “She has experience as a classroom teacher, building level administrator and as a district level administrator. That, along with her passion for students and the community, will help guide us forward as a school district.”

Hart and her husband, Clayton, along with their two children, live in Lincoln County. She enjoys attending and participating in church activities, reading, cooking, spending time with friends and family and traveling in her free time.

She will began her new role on Aug. 21.
