Stanford Departments report June activity

STANFORD – The Stanford Fire Department (SFD) responded to 34 fire-related calls during the month of June.

According to the monthly activity report given to Stanford City Council members, SFD responded to a total of 42 EMS-related calls.

From June 1 to June 30, SFD reported the following incidents:

• Fires – 1

• Rescue and Emergency Medical Service – 42

• Service Call – 6

• Good Intent Call – 17

• False Alarm & False Call – 8

• Special Incident Type – 2

The Stanford Police Department (SPD) also gave a monthly activity report.

During the month of June SPD reported 1,023 contacts through 911.

Police wrote 271 citations and gave 88 warnings.

A total of 28 arrests were made in June and police worked 16 accidents. SPD reported 43 incidents/cases in June.

Since January, SPD has written 1,091 citations and made 139 arrests. Police have worked a total of 122 accidents since the beginning of the year and 393 warnings have been given. A total of 222 incidents/cases have been opened.

Stanford Code Enforcement granted two certificates of occupancy in June, reported one plat review and one zone change request.

Code Enforcement had one verification of an application for an alcoholic beverage license in June.

There were 26 business licenses that were issued or renewed in June.
