Peek wins Agriscience competition at Beta convention

The Lincoln County High School Beta Club competed at the National Beta Convention recently at the Galt House in Louisville.
LCHS had two students place nationally in three different events including Kalyn Peek who won first place in 11th grade Agriscience making her the National Champion. Peek, who will be a senior this year, also placed seventh in the Spelling Bee.
Recent graduate Gentry Osbourn placed sixth in Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio Vocalist.
To compete at the National Convention students had to place in the top five in their competition at the State Beta convention held earlier this year. Congratulations to both of these young ladies for their success and representing Lincoln County.
