Sounding Joy Women’s Choir and Resonance Men’s Choir will present a free concert, Nature’s Bounty, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at First Christian Church in Danville.

The sanctuary of the church will be filled with the sounds and stories of loons and other birds, a wolf and chipmunk, buffalo, a loyal dog, a powerful horse and a newborn one, a couple of rivers and oceans — and it might even be a little windy.  The 55 singers will also join together for three pieces including one that deals with the destructive force of nature, especially when people misuse nature’s gifts.

The concert is free, but donations to the Danville Children’s Choir will be accepted.
