Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute welcomes Samantha DeWitt, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. DeWitt is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her associate’s degree in nursing through Bluegrass Community and Technical College, bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of Kentucky and her master’s of science in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.
DeWitt started as a patient care tech at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in 2007 and began her nursing career as a registered nurse in the emergency department at EMRMC in 2010. She became a nurse practitioner in 2016 and continued to provide care to emergency room patients as an APRN.
DeWitt lives in Salvisa with her husband, Josh, and their two children, Raylan and Ava. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, four-wheeling, fishing, going to church and reading/listening to books.
Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute is located at 216 West Walnut St. in Danville and is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
