“We are excited to welcome guests to the Winter Kitchen to offer a unique dining experience in the West Family Dwelling, where many Pleasant Hill Shakers lived, and dined,” said Chef Hokams. “Winter dishes like burgoo with sour cream cornbread and vegetarian shepherd’s pie will undoubtedly leave our guests feeling satisfied.”

The buffet will include appetizer, entrée and dessert options including roasted beef shoulder with a red wine reduction sauce, airline chicken breast with tarragon cream and roasted salmon with honey and stone-ground mustard glaze. The buffet will be $42 for adults (ages 13+) and $20 for children (ages 5-12), an additional à la carte children’s menu will also be available.

Upon reopening on February 27, 2023 The Trustees’ Office will have new paint and plaster repairs to the walls and ceilings. An annual deep clean of the kitchen equipment and facilities will be complete, as well as painting.
