Kentucky State Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide that occurred Friday in Lincoln County.

KSP responded at about 4 p.m. to a home on Moccasin Road in Lincoln County to a call of two people with gunshot wounds.

KSP said they believe Steven Hiter, 52, shot Jamie Fowler, 51, then shot himself.

Hiter and Fowler were pronounced dead at the scene by the Lincoln County coroner.

The investigation is ongoing.
