According to their biography, the Podgaiskys have been serving “in Kyiv since December 2002.” While they were “hoping their departure would be temporary four months later, they haven’t returned.”
Gennady and Mina, a 1997 alumna of Campbellsville University, helped establish the Village of Hope in 2003, a foster family ministry center. At this time, the Village of Hope hosts three Ukrainian foster families with a total of 21 children.

Since then, the Podgaiskys have led Bible studies, provided counseling, organized and led family seminars, helped Outback couples’ retreats, held marital counseling and provided training on life skills for youth.
The couple also leads a home Bible study group. Mina leads a women’s Bible study group where they “do crafts, play games, fellowship and study the Word of God,” according to their biography.
“Mina is ‘one of the authors and trainer[s] of the Life Skills Manual for youth,’” according to their website. The manual consists of four-to-seven 90-minute lessons designed as a course for future orphanage graduates.

The public is invited.
