Stanford Elementary gets new assistant principal

NEWS RELEASE

Lincoln County Schools is pleased to announce Bobbie Haney as the new assistant principal at Stanford Elementary. Mrs. Haney has 15 years experience as an educator and joins SES from Oak Hill Elementary in Somerset, Kentucky.

She attended Morehead State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She later received a Teacher Leader Master’s degree from Union College and a Master’s degree in Educational  Leadership/Principalship from University of the Cumberlands.

“I am so excited that Stanford Elementary has trusted me to become a part of their family,” said Mrs. Haney. “I can’t wait to meet all the staff, teachers, students and parents at SES. This is going to be a great year. Go Wildcats!”

Mrs. Haney and her husband, Doug, have three sons. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, gardening, canning and playing the piano on the praise team at her church.

She will begin her new assistant principal role at Stanford soon. The first day of school for students is this Wednesday, Aug. 10.
