Donald Lanigan, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at The OSU Ross Heart Hospital with his loving wife, Gloria, and his two sons, Donald E. and Douglas W. Lanigan and daughter-in-law, Molly by his side.
Donald was born September 21, 1954 in Somerset, Kentucky to Paul and Evylee (Adams) Lanigan.
Employed by Liebert Corporation for 35 years Donald enjoyed working with everyone there and never missed a day of work.
Donald had a very eventful childhood playing with all his siblings.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Paul; Arthur and Betty; and granddaughter, Railey.
In addition to his wife and children, Don has left behind his most precious, 95 years young mother; 12 siblings: Danny, Shirley, Louise, Linville, Lynette, Janie, Kim, Carolyn, Teona, David, Rodney and Shaun; grandchildren, McKenzie, Bailey, Hunter, Griffen and Evylee; 1 great-grandson, Brock; close friend in Kentucky, David Garrison; and great-friend and Angel, Jeff in Ohio.
Donald’s only final wish was to see all his grandchildren and great-grandson. This became a reality thanks to the staff at OSU. His grandchildren will remember him as a soft-spoken, wise man with a strong passion for tractors on which he would take turns driving them around in the yard.
Donald’s journey may be over but he will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. We will always love and miss you, PAPAW.
At Donald’s request there will not be a service. His family requests that in lieu of flowers or donations only cards be sent to: P.O. Box 479, Centerburg, OH 43011.
