Barbara Ann Smith, 64, of Waynesburg, KY passed away Wednesday, September 1st, at her home. She was the widow of Danny Ray Smith who preceded her in death on November 1, 2019.
Barbara was born in Stanford, KY on September 7, 1956, to the late Russell H. and Edith (Brown) Blankenship. She was a retired employee of First Southern National Bank where she enjoyed working many years there and loved her co-workers. Barbara was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, watching movies, carousel horses, and going to flea markets. She especially enjoyed all the rook card games she would play on Saturday with her sisters.
Most of all she loved her family dearly including her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Sallee; two grandsons, Rusty Sallee & wife, Dawn and Hunter Sallee & Girlfriend, Savannah; three great grandchildren, Cannon, Collin & Lillie; four sisters, Betty Schuler, Dorris Cartee, Sue Young & Kay Peppard.
A Celebratory visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at McKnight Funeral Home from 5 until 8 PM.
