Shirley Arnett, 54, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021. Born on Feb. 16, 1967, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late James Snyder and the late Dorothy Thompson Snyder. She was the widow to the late William David Arnett, Sr. She was a nurse for most of her life. She enjoyed music and loved her grandkids dearly.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Toohey, Jr. (Rebecca) of Stanford, Kentucky, Edward Toohey (Brandi) of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, Chris Toohey (Lindsey) of Stanford, Kentucky, William David Arnett, Jr. of Stanford, Kentucky; three daughters, Michele Yaslik (Jason) of Seminole, Florida, Lisa Wilson (Daniel) of Lexington, Kentucky, and Danielle Poland (Heath) of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers, Pete Snyder of Hubbard, Ohio, and John Snyder of Youngstown, Ohio; and one sister, Elaine Kornack of Rogers, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William David Arnett, Sr.; parents, James and Dorothy Snyder; one brother, Jim Snyder; and one sister, Sheila McLaughlin.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Kentucky.
