Ronald Kelvin Taylor, 55, Crab Orchard, passed away Monday, January 18th, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was the husband of Betty Jean (Cromer) Taylor. Ronnie was born in Richmond, Indiana on October 26, 1965, to the late Harl D. and Virginia Alice (Bryant) Taylor. He had previously worked in construction for ATS, Woodall Construction, and Central Rock. Ronnie had attended Watts Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Betty Taylor; Son, Kelvin Taylor and his wife, Ashley of North Carolina; Son, Mickey Taylor of Slaty Branch; Step Daughter, Denise and her Husband, Mark Singleton of Brodhead; Step Daughter, Angela Cromer and her Companion, Monte Shelton of Crab Orchard; Brother, Harley Taylor & his wife, Becky of Stanford; Twin Brother, Donnie Taylor and his Companion, Cindy of Livingston; Sister, Marqueeta and her Husband, Michael Wallin of Crab Orchard; Sister, Nancy & her Husband, Bill Caldwell of Slaty Branch; 5 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren and Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. at McKnight Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial followed in the Crab Orchard Cemetery.
