Margie Morgan Padgett, 74, of Waynesburg, KY passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Born on July 5, 1946, in Somerset, KY to the late William “Wes” Joseph Morgan and the late Sarah Armennie Morgan. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Margie enjoyed cooking, gardening, antiquing, and collecting Longenberger baskets. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Earl Padgett (Sonja) of Waynesburg, KY; one brother, Charles Morgan (Mollie) of Somerset, KY; a special friend, Arlene Padgett of Waynesburg, KY; three grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Rebecca), Cameron Smith-Padgett (Samantha) and Kelli Shea Padgett; one great-granddaughter, Eden Isabell-Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earnest Padgett, parents, William “Wes” Joseph Morgan, and Sarah Armennie Morgan.

A private family service has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 9, 2020, with Bro. Chuck Jacobs. Burial will follow at Parlor Grove Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY.

Pallbearers are Travis Morgan, Benny Morgan, Darrell Morgan, Anthony Todd, Reece Denny, and Cameron Smith-Padgett.

Honorary Pallbearer is Jeff Frith.
