Two arrested on drug charges

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy Michael Mullins and Deputy Mike Mullins were attempting to locate a stolen vehicle from Rockcastle County.
During the investigation, the deputies went to a residence on KY 39 South where they made contact with two subjects. One of the subjects was found to have two active warrants.
Deputies also found what was suspected to be methamphetamine, digital scales, and suspected marijuana, along with other paraphernalia consistent with trafficking narcotics.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, deputies have previously received numerous complaints of drug activity from this location.
One female subject was arrested on multiple charges, including two active warrants for trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), persistent felony offender, and additional charges of trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A male subject was also arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
