Tillett wins DAR scholarship
Each year the Logan-Whitley Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, sponsors the DAR Good Citizen Award. It is presented to one senior who has demonstrated qualities of good character, dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. The Chapter recipient of this award receives the DAR Good Citizen Pin, certificate, and a $100 chapter scholarship towards the purchase of college books. Their name is engraved on a nameplate and placed on the DAR Good Citizen Plaque which hangs on the entry wall of the high school. The 2020 recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award is Carter Tillett of Lincoln County High School. Carter is the son of Jody and Jamie Wells; and Bryan and Shelly Tillett.
