Several people turned out for a peaceful protest in Crab Orchard Monday to support the Black Lives Matter movement. A Facebook post announcing the event stated, “Come join us in a peaceful protest. We are standing up for equality for all, regardless of skin tone. We are fighting against racism in this small town. Black lives matter here.”
