The Lincoln County Middle School boys basketball teams went 4-2 in Salt River Conference play at Anderson County Middle and East Jessamine Middle this past week.

The Lincoln sixth- and eighth-grade teams were victorious in both outings, improving to 13-5 and 14-3, respectively. However, the seventh-grade team stumbled in both to go to 10-5. The sixth-grade and seventh-grade teams are both 3-2 in the SRC while the eighth-grade team is 4-1.

The teams did not fare as well in non-conference play with visiting Lexington Catholic sweeping the host Eagles on Saturday. The visitors posted double-digit wins in each of the three games, the largest margin a 54-29 win in sixth-grade action.
