Zella Hood Saylor, 91, widow of Roy B. Saylor, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

She was born September 16, 1928 to the late James H. and Maggie R. Hood, in Rockcastle County, KY.

She is survived by her sister, Flonnie Hawkins; two daughters, Linda (Chad) Douglas and Wanda (Philippe) Ward; three grandchildren, Tami (Marc) Schnoll, Lindsay Ward, and Matthew (Meaghan) Ward; nine great-grandchildren; Sebastian and Sophia Schnoll, Gabrielle, Bruce III, Kiara, and Joslynn Cook, and Annabelle, Lorelei, and Scarlett Ward.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Bruce Cook, Jr., as well as four brothers and three sisters.

She was a loving wife of 64 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed dearly. She devoted her life to God, her family and her church.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church in Winchester, KY, Saturday, November 30th at 1 p.m. Family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 12 p.m.

Interment to follow at a later date.
