Helen Logsdon Cash, 88, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville.
She was the widow of Granville Cash, who preceded her in death on October 11, 1969. Helen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 5, 1931 to the late Bryan and Amanda Gladson Logsdon. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
Survivors Include two sons: Arlis (Alva) Cash and Robert Cash, both of Crab Orchard; a sister, Mattie (Paul) Franks of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren: Allen (Melissa) Cash of Stanford, Amanda Shelton Maddox (Charlie Brumfield) of Stanford, Jami (Kyle) Oaks of Waynesburg, Travis (Heather) Cash of Stanford, Colby Cash of Campbellsville and Hunter (Ashley) Cash of Crab Orchard; six great-grandchildren: Patrick Maddox, Trent Graham, Aubrey and Sadie Cash, Aiden Peska and Mattie Oaks.
In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Shelton and a sister, Annis Parman.
The funeral service was held Monday, October 14, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers included: Allen, Travis, Colby and Hunter Cash, Patrick Maddox, Kyle Oaks, Truman Shelton and Windell Thompson.
