BARDSTOWN — The Lincoln County Lady Patriot golf team’s season came to an end Monday in the Girls Region 4 Tournament.

The sun that was shining brightly on My Old Kentucky Home, was shining just as brightly, and hot, down the road at the Maywoods Country Club where LCHS sophomore Ally Lynn, freshman Shelby Wilson, LCMS seventh-grader Baylea Snow and 45 other high school golfers were opening postseason play.

The season ended for the Lady Patriot golfers and most of the field Monday, with only the region champion team and the top seven individual golfers not on the winning team advancing on to next week’s state tournament at the Bowling Green Country Club.
