STANFORD – Michael Broihier of Stanford has thrown his hat in the political ring, looking to challenge Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in the 2020 election.
Broihier, a retired Marine and former editor of The Interior Journal, operates a small farm in Chicken Bristle.
Before Broihier makes the charge to unseat McConnell, he will have to win in the Democratic primary. Also looking to challenge McConnell is another retired Marine, Amy McGrath.
More details to follow in the July 25 issue of The Interior Journal.
