Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Question of the week: Are you a Christian elitist? Do you know where you really stand with the Lord?

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services. This past Sunday morning we were blessed with an anointed word by Rev. Dennis Hasty, who brought our message. Then on Sunday night we returned to Romans 2, looking at “Law Breakers” in our “Walk Through Romans” series.

Some upcoming events include our community Good Friday Service on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall; the community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. at the church; and our Easter services, featuring our Easter play on Sunday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Finally on Sunday morning, April 28, we will be visited by the Gideon’s International, hearing about God’s work around the globe. We will also be receiving a love offering for Gideon’s International.

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.
