Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it
Question of the week: Do you know how to really communicate and connect with God?
To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services. On Sunday morning we were blessed by a special word from our Youth Director and lay minister Neil Silverthorn with a word on the evils of gossip. Then on Sunday night we turned our attention to Matthew 5 and the subject of “Communicating with God.”
Some upcoming events include our community Good Friday Service on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall; the community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. at the church; and our Easter services, featuring our Easter play on Sunday, April 21 at 11 a.m.
Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.
Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.
