Larry D. “Pup” Doss, 70, of Hustonville, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Pup was born on May 28, 1948 to the late Mathew “Buster” and Virginia “Babe” Zwahlen Doss. He had formerly worked as a police officer for Stanford, Hustonville and Lancaster.

Survivors include his brother, Jim Doss and his wife Ann of Ottenheim; six nieces; several great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Pup was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcia Doss Alford and Alma Jean Doss Beatty.

In honoring Pup’s final wishes, cremation rites were performed.
