Rose Luttrell Stephens, 75, of Stanford, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at home.

Born May 10, 1943, in Liberty, Rose was a daughter of the late Arlis Luttrell and Beulah Wilkerson. She was the widow of Ronald Lee Stephens and a retired employee from Kentucky Correctional Institution where she worked as a corrections officer. She was also a member of Stanford Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Stephens, Jr. (Vicki) of Henry County, Ky.; three daughters, Lisa Wolford (Greg) of Garrard County, Ky., Melanie Phillips (Jeff) of South Carolina, and Michelle Bruns (Jeff) of Gainesville, Ga.; three sisters, Cindi Tanner of Bowling Green, Ky., Teresa Ballinger (Gary) of Lexington, Ky., and Dixie Luttrell of Junction City, Ky.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces, and two nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from noon to 2 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at Pilot Baptist Church Cemetery.
