Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it. Question of the week: Are you anticipating Jesus? Do you actively watch or casually wait?
To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services as we looked at Luke 3:1-18 and the subject of “Working While We Wait.” Our focus this past Sunday has been our obedience to God and producing fruit for the Lord while we anticipate and wait for His return.
Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.
Some special dates to keep in mind:
•Church Christmas Party (with a “special guest”) on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
•Christmas play on Dec. 23 at 5 p.m.
Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.
If you would like more information about our church and different activities that are available, visit us on the web at https://stanfordchurchofthenazarene.com, and as always don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook. Also, you can always contact the church at (606) 365-1260 and leave a message. Someone will give you a call back as soon as we can. If you would like a copy of the service, just note that in your message.
Alternatively, all services are archived in the church’s YouTube channel, just search for “Stanford Church of the Nazarene,” and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button.
Have a blessed week and come see us sometime.
