Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Questions of the week: Do you have enough oil for the journey? Can you endure until the end? Are you keeping watch?

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services as Brother Buford brought the message first from Matthew 24, looking at Jesus’ challenge to his disciples to keep watch and then on Sunday night looking at Matthew 25 on the oil necessary for the journey. In the sermons, Bro. Buford outlined Jesus’ serious warnings to the disciples staying awake, alert, and prepared for the coming of the Bridegroom.

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

Special Announcement: Our 2018 Fall Revival dates are set for September 16-19 with the Wright Family, anointing singers and preachers. Consider joining with us as we celebrate the Lord together. Also, Homecoming 2018 is set for Sunday, September 23 with Rev. Dennis Hasty, pastor of Frankfort Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene as our guest preacher. Come and be with us and stick around to eat.

Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.
