LCHS offering discounted season sports passes

STANFORD — The 2018 fall sports season is right around the corner for the Lincoln County High School Lady Patriot and Patriot sports teams. And then there are the winter and fall sports seasons to follow.
With admission at the gate at all home athletic events $5 per person, regular attendance at LCHS sporting events (football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball) can become quite costly for students, athletes’ families and fans.
However, before anyone starts sweating the potential costs of following the Lincoln teams, LCHS has an option for fans to enjoy local sports at a reduced price by offering several sports passes.
The special passes for 2018-19 are:
*Student Pass, District Employee Pass and/or Senior Citizen Pass: $25 – Good for regular-season home games.
*1-Person Adult Pass: $50 – Good for all regular-season home games.
*Family Pass: $125 – Good for up to four family members for all home regular-season games.
“That’s a great price,” Lincoln Athletic Director Tim Estes said. “I’ve seen a lot of students use the passes in the past. I mean, at $5 a pop you can go to just five games and get your $25 worth.”
As the new A.D. at LCHS, Estes does not have exact numbers on how many passes are sold each year, but he knows many people take advantage of the offer.
“It’s a great savings,” he said. “I think every student should take advantage and adults and families, as well.”
Season athletic passes will only be accepted at regular-season home games. Passes will not be honored at the PBK/WPBK-FM Death Valley Bowl in football or any post-season contests.
The 2018-19 sport season passes are not available for sale at this time. Estes said they will definitely be on sale at the front desk in the high school lobby once school starts, but will probably be offered for sale at an earlier date.
