Mrs. Louise Brown
celebrates 90th birthday

Approximately 75 guests attended the birthday celebration of Mrs. Louise Brown held at the home of her daughter, Ms. Barthenia Brown. The party was hosted by her three children, Sara Givens, Barthenia Brown and Gary (Pat) Brown and grandchildren. It was a surprise party but she was so delighted to see so many relatives and friends which included her sister, Mrs. Irene Gooch and nieces and nephews. She was presented with lots of birthday cards, gifts and a song by Mrs. Anna Napier, “We Come This Far By Faith.”

She thanked everyone for coming and sharing with her a delicious barbecue meal and her birthday cake. She gives God all of the praise and glory for allowing her to reach the milestone in her life of 90 years. Her final words to all of her guests were, I quote “I bet I can out run all of you.” (unquote) – she probably can. Thanks go out to everyone that attended and thank God for mothers. Happy 90th Birthday Mama!!

Thought for the week: This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24.
